The Daily reported over the week that legendary Peruvian born photographer, Mario Testino has been made an honorary Brazilian at the Tiradentes Award in Rio de Janeiro.
He received the Tiradentes Medal of honorary citizenship on Wednesday from the legislative assembly of the state of Rio at the Copacabana Palace, the assembly’s highest honor. The honor is reserved for individuals deemed to have given outstanding services to the state of Brazil and humanity in general.
Supermodel, Gisele Bundchen, was in town to help Testino celebrate the honor, along with Michael Roberts, Ana Beatriz Barros, and Prince Andreas Casiraghi.
I wonder where Catherine McNeil is… she was signed to be exclusively shot by Testino for the next six months.[Image from The Daily]
