The New Yorker March 20, 2006 cover

I love it.
Can you believe this New Yorker cover from March 20, 2006 came in second for best fashion cover of 2006 in the magazine of the year awards in America. Instead it came in equal second with a Kate Moss cover.
The illustration of thin models on runway watched by fuller-figured women in the audience is intriguing and has you thinking. I am assuming the rounder women are actually real women, and not fashion magazine editors.
After all, Anna Wintour seems to have been the same size for the last few decades.
