Christina Ricci, ambassador for Samsonite Fashionaire

She can be seen on the cover of this month’s Nylon magazine, and now Christina Ricci will be the ambassador for Samsonite’s new Fashionaire line.

According to The Daily:

The collection, a throwback to the company’s popular travel collections from the 1960s, has been reissued for 2007 with modern materials and functionality, and updated for the busy traveler to include carry-on’s and spinners.

Ricci, who will host a launch party for the collection in Manhattan on March 29, will be doing a round of press to help promote it. According to a company spokeswoman, no campaign is currently being planned for this collection, though Cameron Silver, another co-host of the event, did consult on the line.

Shame Christina Ricci won’t be fronting a Samsonite campaign, she would look so gorgeous wearing 1960s inspired clothes or something.
