Lucy Liu designs a bag for Tod’s

When I think about Lucy Liu and designer bags, I usually think of that Sex and the City episode in which she guest starred in.

Samantha just happens to have scored Lucy as a client, and spends most of the episode obsessed with getting a red Hermes Birkin bag. She is so desperate that she name drops Lucy’s name in hope of jumping straight to the top of the waiting list. Of course the bag gets delivered to Lucy, by passing Samantha completely.

Well the tables have turned for Lucy recently in that she recently designed a limited edition bag together with luxury leather label, Tod’s. A portion of the bag’s sales will go towards the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.
