Yup, Kit Willow for Portmans is pretty
The ‘Dream of a Dress’ collection by Kit Willow for Aussie chain retailer, Portmans, was unveiled last week (our invite must have been lost in the mail).

With only eight dresses and three distinct themes, all all Willow fans should mark down October 1 on their calendar so they can get a Willow designed dress as soon as they hit the racks because the dresses will only be available in store for a month.
According to the The Daily (who either got an invite or a press release):
The collection is divided into three distinct themes. The sleek silhouettes of the first story feature structured corseted bustiers in pin-tucked silk and cotton, with draped jersey and figure-hugging tailored stretch fabric below the bodice. The second story features pin-tucked silk teamed with satin and reverse matte silk creating loose, detailed fabric-overlaid singlet dresses with elastic under bust fastenings. Ethereal Grecian spirit sets the scene for the third story. Willow’s signature materializes in ensembles of petrol and nude, moss and black, and a bold black and ivory print. Knotted cord strapping recreates a traditional neckline, fresh fabrics update the classic baby doll, and tunics suggest a hint of ancient times.
If only I could have seen it for myself… I’ll have to wait until October 1 to find out for myself like everyone else.
