What do you sport in winter? Adidas hopes it’s Stella McCartney
The new Adidas by Stella McCartney hits stores really soon for its fourth season.
With her contract with Adidas extended until 2010, Stella’s new collection was inspired to create a Wintersports collection and creating “ultra-sexy pieces” for the slopes.
Similar to previous collections where the feminine, tailored shapes are inspired by Stella’s ready-to-wear collection, these pieces are made from technical fabrics that guarantee protection and comfort without compromising style.
Highlights of the collection includes padded jackets and pants as well a moon boot which claims to have an “amazing two-in-one concept, with a cozy sock-type inner boot”.
If I ever went to the snow in Australia… perhaps I’d buy one. But winter isn’t coming soon to Australia – summer is though!

The Stella shoe is not a Moon Boot.
Moon Boot was invented in 1971 by a company called Tecnica. They offer the real and authentic Moon Boot. They registered the trademark in 1978.
Adidas was served notice to stop using their trademark in referring to this boot.
